How does it work?
First an assessment of needs is carried out based on our conversations with you, school reports and any shared examples of work. Our team then discuss which 11 plus private tutor could be best suited to your child. The selected tutor’s bio and availability is then shared with you and an introduction is then made.

How do we select our tutors?
When selecting an 11 plus tuition near me, it’s important to know that all 11 plus teachers go through Headway’s three-step interview process:
- Their teaching biography and CV are discussed over the phone.
- Face to face interviews then take place where all interviewees are given a variety of scenarios so we can assess how the teach. Qualifications and references are then checked (all our tutors have a DBS)
- Final meeting with the prospective tutor where Headway’s strict code of conduct is discussed and signed before any work begins with one of our families.
